Colorectal cancer is a cancer located in the colon or rectum. They can also be known as colon or rectal cancer.

1 in 24 people may develop colorectal cancer.

Colorectal cancer is the third most leading cause of cancer deaths in men, and fourth for women.

Risk Factors of
Colorectal Cancer

Some risks may increase your chances of getting colorectal cancer. These could be:

  • overweight/obese

  • type 2 diabetes

  • certain types of diets

    • lots of red meats and processed meats

    • low blood level of vitamin D

    • not enough fruits and veggies

  • Smoking

  • Heavy Alcohol Use
